About Employer

We are building the $2.6 billion facilities (phase 1, 2) in Commerce, GA which is the largest economic development deal in Georgia in more than decade ago, and will generate over 2,000 jobs over the next few years.

The employer has partnered with major automakers and will produce batteries for electric vehicles that will shape the way of the future. Together, the facilities will reach a production capacity of 21.5 gigawatts, the equivalent of powering more than 400,000 vehicles.

What you will do (Essential Duties)

Equipment (+Spare parts) Procurement Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Fluent in SAP MM Module
  • Responsible for leading the full range of procurement processes
  • Develops, implements and manages contracts and service level agreements for the procurement of goods, services and leases
  • Effective communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Deep understanding of contracts, contract governance, contractual language and the contract lifecycle
  • Exceptional attention to detail, and talent for accuracy and precision
  • Critical thinking skills and the ability to research and understand legal and financial implications
  • Contract for General Service/Construction (Plant Level)/Labor Service for manufacturing line/facilities as needed at the best price from reliable sources, consistent with established standards for quality, quantity and SK requirements.
  • Support global-based efforts to drive effective procurement of indirect categories (e.g. Local/Global, 1. Construction, General Service contracts, 2. Equipment (+Spare Parts) etc.
  • Own the procurement process and support various procurement functions such as strategic sourcing, subcontracting, vendor file management, and assist staff in drafting of requests for proposals, specifications, terms of reference, evaluation criteria and sole source justifications
  • Prepare a voucher for all purchased items and construction, service contract as per progressive payment condition
  • Able to manage a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Ensure assigned service suppliers are meeting agreed upon service requirements as per contract
  • Perform other duties and tasks as may be assigned or expected

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year

Experience:
